4-Day In-Person Retreat · July 19–23, 2026 · Rock Hall, Maryland
She's the athlete.
The good student.
The responsible one.
From the outside, everything looks like it's working. But inside she may be feeling:
Most teens today are taught how to achieve.
Very few are taught how to truly know themselves.
High-performing teens often look fine from the outside. Inside, the pressure tells a different story.
Constantly measuring themselves against others online, feeling like they're always a step behind no matter what they achieve.
Feeling like they must perform at a high level in every area of life, all the time, with no room to fall short or just be a kid.
Struggling to know who they are beyond school, sports, and expectations. The role can start to feel like the whole person.
Nervousness before games, tests, or important conversations that goes beyond normal nerves and starts to get in the way.
Feeling tired from constantly trying to keep up. Not a crisis. Just bone-tired in a way that's hard to explain to anyone else.
Coaches, parents, and teachers all having ideas about who they should be. Everyone with a plan. No one asking what she actually wants.
Scroll past the experience and pricing to find answers to every question you have.
Dr. Jamie Fleetwood is a former Division I lacrosse player at Johns Hopkins University, where she was a two-time All-American and later inducted into the Johns Hopkins Athletic Hall of Fame.
Her own journey as a high-performing athlete led her to explore the deeper questions many young people face: identity, confidence, resilience, and purpose.
Today, Jamie holds doctorates in Pharmacy and Holistic Health and has spent more than two decades working with athletes, students, and high-performing individuals. She currently serves as a high school chemistry teacher and head girls lacrosse coach, mentoring young women both on and off the field.
Through her work in holistic health, personal development, and athletics, Jamie helps young people develop the self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience needed to thrive in today's high-pressure world.
This retreat is the program she wishes had existed when she was a teenager.
Over four immersive days, girls step away from everyday pressure and enter an environment designed for growth, confidence building, and authentic connection. Through a blend of mindset training, holistic practices, movement, creativity, and adventure, participants learn tools that help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and energy.
Girls learn how their thoughts influence their emotions, confidence, and behavior. Through guided discussions and activities, they begin to recognize the mental patterns that shape how they show up in sports, school, friendships, and life.
At the beginning and end of the retreat, participants experience a Bio-Well energy scan — a biofield imaging technology that provides visual feedback related to stress levels, energy balance, and overall wellbeing.
Participants explore the body's energy centers and how they relate to confidence, communication, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. Through hands-on activities and color-based experiences, girls learn simple techniques for restoring balance.
Girls strengthen their capacity for growth by stepping into new experiences and challenges designed to stimulate the brain's ability to adapt and form new connections. They practice trying new things, stepping outside comfort zones, and building confidence through action.
Daily yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness practices help girls learn practical ways to regulate stress and anxiety. These tools can be used before games, tests, performances, or challenging conversations.
Time in nature, beach activities on the Chesapeake Bay, and evening fire circles create space for reflection, laughter, and authentic connection. Girls unplug from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves, nature, and each other.
Located on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay, Rock Hall offers a peaceful waterfront setting ideal for reflection, connection, and personal growth.
Rock Hall sits far enough from the noise of everyday life to feel like a world apart, and close enough from most of the mid-Atlantic that logistics are simple. The natural setting allows girls to step away from everyday pressures and reconnect with themselves.
All meals are prepared on-site and shared together as a group.
More confident in who she is, independent of performance or outcomes.
Equipped with real tools for managing stress and anxiety in the moments that matter most.
Less caught in comparison and external pressure. Clearer about what she actually values.
Clearer about her goals and values in her own words, not someone else's.
Connected with a supportive circle of girls who actually see her.
More grounded, joyful, and self-assured walking into every season ahead.
"This isn't just another lacrosse camp. This is a journey into yourself: the person you're becoming, not just the player you think you need to be."
Everything is included: accommodations, all meals, all workshops and retreat curriculum, transportation to activities, retreat materials, and post-retreat integration resources. No add-ons. No surprises.
Limited to 15 girls to preserve the depth and intimacy of the experience. Reserve early to secure her spot.

"I texted Dr. Jamie three times before I registered. She answered all three, within the hour. That told me everything I needed to know."
No. While Dr. Jamie's personal story is rooted in athletics, this retreat is designed for any teen girl ages 13–18 who wants to develop confidence, resilience, and self-knowledge. The principles and tools apply across sports, academics, arts, and life in general.

Yes. Dr. Jamie is present and facilitating throughout the full four days, with additional adult support staff on-site. The environment is structured, supportive, and safe.
Girls have their phones with them and can reach home. If you have trouble getting a response from your daughter, Dr. Jamie is available by text to help facilitate communication.
Full refund within 14 days of registration. After that, your deposit is non-refundable, but we will work with you if genuine extenuating circumstances arise. We're not trying to hold anyone hostage — we just need enough certainty to hold a spot and plan accordingly.
That's normal. Most girls who attended weren't sure at first. A quick call with Dr. Jamie before registering can help. We'd rather she opt in with clarity than show up reluctant.
You'll receive a full packing list upon registration. The essentials: comfortable layers, swimwear, closed-toe shoes for outdoor activities, a journal, and an open mind.
Sometimes all it takes is a few days away from the noise to reconnect with who you truly are. Beyond the Game was created to give girls that space.
