She Looks Like She's Doing Great.
But Inside She May Feel the Pressure.

She's the athlete.

The good student.

The responsible one.

From the outside, everything looks like it's working. But inside she may be feeling:

  • pressure to keep performing
  • anxiety before games, tests, or conversations
  • comparison from social media
  • uncertainty about who she really is beyond expectations

Most teens today are taught how to achieve.

Very few are taught how to truly know themselves.

Does Any of This Sound Familiar?

High-performing teens often look fine from the outside. Inside, the pressure tells a different story.

📱

Social Media Comparison

Constantly measuring themselves against others online, feeling like they're always a step behind no matter what they achieve.

📚

Academic and Athletic Pressure

Feeling like they must perform at a high level in every area of life, all the time, with no room to fall short or just be a kid.

🎭

Identity Confusion

Struggling to know who they are beyond school, sports, and expectations. The role can start to feel like the whole person.

😰

Anxiety Before Performance

Nervousness before games, tests, or important conversations that goes beyond normal nerves and starts to get in the way.

😔

Burnout and Overwhelm

Feeling tired from constantly trying to keep up. Not a crisis. Just bone-tired in a way that's hard to explain to anyone else.

🔥

Pressure from Outside Expectations

Coaches, parents, and teachers all having ideas about who they should be. Everyone with a plan. No one asking what she actually wants.

Meet Your Guide

Dr. Jamie Fleetwood

Dr. Jamie Fleetwood is a former Division I lacrosse player at Johns Hopkins University, where she was a two-time All-American and later inducted into the Johns Hopkins Athletic Hall of Fame.

Her own journey as a high-performing athlete led her to explore the deeper questions many young people face: identity, confidence, resilience, and purpose.

Today, Jamie holds doctorates in Pharmacy and Holistic Health and has spent more than two decades working with athletes, students, and high-performing individuals. She currently serves as a high school chemistry teacher and head girls lacrosse coach, mentoring young women both on and off the field.

Through her work in holistic health, personal development, and athletics, Jamie helps young people develop the self-awareness, confidence, and emotional resilience needed to thrive in today's high-pressure world.

This retreat is the program she wishes had existed when she was a teenager.

The Retreat Experience

Five Pillars. One Powerful Transformation.

Over four immersive days, girls step away from everyday pressure and enter an environment designed for growth, confidence building, and authentic connection. Through a blend of mindset training, holistic practices, movement, creativity, and adventure, participants learn tools that help them better understand their thoughts, emotions, and energy.

🧠

Inner World Mastery

Girls learn how their thoughts influence their emotions, confidence, and behavior. Through guided discussions and activities, they begin to recognize the mental patterns that shape how they show up in sports, school, friendships, and life.

Energy Awareness & Biofield Assessment

At the beginning and end of the retreat, participants experience a Bio-Well energy scan — a biofield imaging technology that provides visual feedback related to stress levels, energy balance, and overall wellbeing.

🌈

Chakra Awareness & Color Therapy

Participants explore the body's energy centers and how they relate to confidence, communication, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. Through hands-on activities and color-based experiences, girls learn simple techniques for restoring balance.

🔁

Neuroplasticity Training

Girls strengthen their capacity for growth by stepping into new experiences and challenges designed to stimulate the brain's ability to adapt and form new connections. They practice trying new things, stepping outside comfort zones, and building confidence through action.

🌿

Mindfulness & Nervous System Tools

Daily yoga, breathwork, and mindfulness practices help girls learn practical ways to regulate stress and anxiety. These tools can be used before games, tests, performances, or challenging conversations.

🌊

Nature, Adventure & Connection

Time in nature, beach activities on the Chesapeake Bay, and evening fire circles create space for reflection, laughter, and authentic connection. Girls unplug from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with themselves, nature, and each other.

Girls Leave the Retreat With:

stronger self-confidence
tools to manage stress and pressure
deeper self-awareness
meaningful friendships
a renewed sense of joy and creativity
a clearer sense of who they are beyond expectations

A Note for Parents

Sending Your Daughter Away for Four Days Is a Meaningful Decision.

Dr. Jamie Fleetwood brings more than two decades of experience working with athletes and young people. She is on-site and facilitating the entire experience from start to finish, with additional adult support staff throughout.

This retreat is designed to give girls the space to grow while ensuring they are supported every step of the way.

This is not a therapy program. It is a personal growth and empowerment retreat. If your daughter is currently receiving mental health treatment, please consult her therapist before registering and reach out to us directly so we can have an honest conversation about fit.

On Safety

Dr. Jamie is present and facilitating throughout. Additional adult support staff are on-site. Structured, supervised environment at all times.

On Communication

Girls have their phones and can reach home. Dr. Jamie is available by text if you have questions or your daughter isn't responding.

On Fit

Designed for girls ages 13–18 who are ready for growth. If uncertain whether this is the right fit, please reach out before registering.

On Investment

Payment plans available. Full refund within 14 days. We would rather help you find the right fit than take your money for the wrong program.

Mother and teen daughter
"I texted Dr. Jamie three times before I registered. She answered all three, within the hour. That told me everything I needed to know."

Common Questions

Answers Before You Have to Ask.

Do I have to be a lacrosse player or athlete to attend?

No. While Dr. Jamie's personal story is rooted in athletics, this retreat is designed for any teen girl ages 13–18 who wants to develop confidence, resilience, and self-knowledge. The principles and tools apply across sports, academics, arts, and life in general.

Is this a therapy program? Does my daughter need to be in therapy first?

This is not therapy and is not a replacement for clinical mental health treatment. It's a personal growth and empowerment retreat. If your daughter is currently receiving mental health support, we encourage you to speak with her provider before registering and reach out to us directly.

What does a typical day look like?

Days begin with morning yoga and mindfulness, followed by facilitated workshops and experiential sessions. Afternoons include team challenges, creative work, or time in nature. Evenings close around the fire. Meals are shared together as a group.

Will my daughter be supervised at all times?

Yes. Dr. Jamie is present and facilitating throughout the full four days, with additional adult support staff on-site. The environment is structured, supportive, and safe.

Will I be able to reach my daughter during the retreat?

Girls have their phones with them and can reach home. If you have trouble getting a response from your daughter, Dr. Jamie is available by text to help facilitate communication.

What if our circumstances change after we register?

Full refund within 14 days of registration. After that, your deposit is non-refundable, but we will work with you if genuine extenuating circumstances arise. We're not trying to hold anyone hostage — we just need enough certainty to hold a spot and plan accordingly.

What if my daughter isn't sure she wants to go?

That's normal. Most girls who attended weren't sure at first. A quick call with Dr. Jamie before registering can help. We'd rather she opt in with clarity than show up reluctant.

What should she bring?

You'll receive a full packing list upon registration. The essentials: comfortable layers, swimwear, closed-toe shoes for outdoor activities, a journal, and an open mind.

The Time Is Now
